This salsa took me literally less than 10 mins to make. Its just something I came up with tonight as I was thinking what to snack on.
My wife and I have made many different salsas in the past and they have all been yummy. What I came up with tonight though is probably the easiest yet best tasting to me so far.
- 5-6 medium vine tomatoes - chopped
- 1/2 white onion
- 3 garlic cloves - peeled and crushed
- 1/2 - 1 jalapeno seeded or not depending on how hot you want it. I like mine hotter
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
- 2 Tbsp of Tomato Paste
- 1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco Chipotle Sauce (optional)
- Medium size handful of cilantro (coriander UK)
- Juice from 1 lime
Put all in a food processor or blender
and blend for about 30 secs or a bit
more depending on what texture you
would like.
Serves 4-6
