Delicious Homemade Salsa

Who doesn't like salsa?? Have you ever thought to yourself that you would like to make your own but it might be a bit complicated so you just buy "store bought". Let me fill you in on my salsa for you to make and enjoy.
This salsa took me literally less than 10 mins to make. Its just something I came up with tonight as I was thinking what to snack on.

My wife and I have made many different salsas in the past and they have all been yummy. What I came up with tonight though is probably the easiest yet best tasting to me so far.

Whats in it
  • 5-6 medium vine tomatoes - chopped
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 3 garlic cloves - peeled and crushed
  • 1/2 - 1 jalapeno seeded or not depending on how hot you want it. I like mine hotter
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cumin
  • 2 Tbsp of Tomato Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Tabasco Chipotle Sauce (optional)
  • Medium size handful of cilantro (coriander UK)
  • Juice from 1 lime
*What I have been doing lately is use 6 medium sized on the vine tomatoes.

Put all in a food processor or blender
and blend for about 30 secs or a bit
more depending on what texture you
would like.
