Are you eating enough fruit and veg? Fruit and veg are a vital source of energy and vitamins. I make sure I always have fruit in veg in my house even if there is no other food. I make a lot of salad. Salad was always a part of the meal while growing up and I have pretty much stuck to that habit. Sometimes I just go a whole day and just eat fruit because I don't feel like eating anything else. Those are the times when I feel best. I can tell when fruit and veg is cut out of my diet that I feel more tired and have less energy.
In the many places I have lived I have heared some people refer to salad and fruit as "Rabbit Food". They say why would I eat rabbit food when I can eat "Man Food". Well saying that first of all makes you ignorant and second you to can die of any of the cancers that are out there today.
Fruit and Veg should be part of anyone's diet these days. It should come from a local farmer or be organic. Have you seen fruit and veg that isn't massed produced, from a local farmer or is organic. It's almost completely different in size, color and taste. Sometimes buying from a local farmer or organic is cheaper as well.
In the end you need to ask yourself, am I getting enough fruit and veg? If not what do I need to do about it.
